Day 01 : Kathmandu — Arrival at the Mystical Capital

Kathmandu — Arrival at the Mystical Capital

Namaste! On arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, you are warmly welcomed by your private driver who takes you to your hotel in the lively Thamel district. Enjoy this first contact with Kathmandu, a city blending ancient traditions and modernity, and begin to immerse yourself in Nepalese culture before the great departure toward Everest.

Day 02 : Kathmandu — Cultural Discovery of the Valley

Kathmandu — Cultural Discovery of the Valley

Today, explore Kathmandu's cultural treasures accompanied by a French-speaking guide and private driver. Visit Swayambunath (the Monkey Temple), perched on a hill with panoramic views of the valley. Then explore Durbar Square, the historic heart of the capital. Discover Boudhanath, one of the world's largest Buddhist stupas and a major pilgrimage site.

Day 03 : Fly to Lukla — Trek to Phakding

Fly to Lukla — Trek to Phakding

After a spectacular 25-minute flight over the mountains, you land at Lukla (2840m), the gateway to the Khumbu and starting point of your trek to Everest. The trail descends progressively through pine and rhododendron forests, following the turbulent Dudh Kosi river. Cross charming Sherpa villages and admire the first snow-capped peaks. Arrive at Phakding (2610m), a peaceful village where you spend your first night in a lodge.

Day 04 : Phakding - Namche Bazaar - The Sherpa Capital

Phakding - Namche Bazaar - The Sherpa Capital

Today the path climbs the Dudh Kosi valley, crossing several spectacular suspension bridges above deep gorges. Pass many stupas and mani walls on your way. After crossing the village of Monjo, you enter Sagarmatha National Park, a protected natural sanctuary. The final climb to Namche Bazaar (3445m) is demanding but rewarded by a breathtaking view of Everest, Lhotse and Ama Dablam. Namche, the true Sherpa capital, is a lively town with colourful markets, comfortable lodges and artisan bakeries.

Day 05 : Namche Bazaar — Acclimatisation Day

Namche Bazaar — Acclimatisation Day

This acclimatisation day is essential to allow your body to adapt gradually to altitude. Take the opportunity to explore the surroundings of Namche: climb to the village of Khumjung or to the Everest View Hotel (3880m) viewpoint, from where you can admire a grandiose panorama of Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kongde Ri. Visit the Sherpa museum to discover the fascinating history of this mountain people. Stroll through Namche's alleys and immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of this Himalayan crossroads.
