Namaste! On arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, you are warmly welcomed by our team who takes you to your hotel in the central and lively Thamel district. Enjoy this first contact with Kathmandu, a city blending ancient traditions and modernity, and begin to immerse yourself in Nepalese culture. Installation at the hotel and rest after your journey.

Day 02 : Kathmandu — Cultural Heritage Discovery

Today, discover the cultural treasures of the Kathmandu valley. Visit the Buddhist temple of Swayambunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, perched on a hill with a panoramic view of the valley. Discover then the stupa of Boudhanath, one of the world's largest Buddhist stupas, where you can watch pilgrims perform their circumambulation rituals. Afternoon free to explore the lively alleys of Thamel and prepare yourself for the adventure beginning tomorrow.

After breakfast, you take the road toward Syabrubesi (1467m), a charming village in the heart of the Langtang region and the gateway to the Tamang Heritage trek. You traverse magnificent valley landscapes following the Trishuli river, passing by rural villages and verdant cultivated hillsides. The route offers spectacular views over the cultivated terraces and, on clear days, over the summits of Ganesh Himal and the Langtang range. After crossing Dhunche, you descend toward Syabrubesi, a lively village where Tamang and Sherpa communities mingle.

Day 04 : Syabrubesi – Gatlang — First Day of Trek & Tamang Culture Discovery

Syabrubesi – Gatlang — First Day of Trek & Tamang Culture Discovery

Today you truly begin your immersion in the Tamang universe. The trail climbs progressively through pine and rhododendron forests, crossing the village of Goljung where you can take a break admiring the first views over the Ganesh Himal and the Langtang chain. You arrive at Gatlang (2238m), one of the most beautiful Tamang villages in Nepal, perched on a steep hillside surrounded by cultivated fields. This picturesque village is renowned for its traditional stone houses with sculpted windows, its colourful prayer flags and its rich Buddhist culture. Visit the local monastery and, if time permits, the sacred lake of Parvati Kunda, a pilgrimage site venerated by Hindus and Buddhists.

Day 05 : Gatlang – Tatopani — Natural Hot Springs

Gatlang – Tatopani — Natural Hot Springs

The trail descends gently through chorten and mani walls, symbols of local spirituality, then through dense forests before climbing back progressively through cultivated terraces to the village of Gonggang. The path continues offering changing views over the valley and snow-capped summits. You arrive at Tatopani (2607m), famous for its natural hot springs with therapeutic virtues. Take advantage of this well-deserved moment of rest with this authentic and memorable experience for all those wishing to explore Nepal off the beaten track. The Tamang communities consider these waters sacred and curative, offering a unique dimension to your trek.
